Have you reached a point in your life where you feel like “something is missing” or life is getting “dull?” Have you ever wondered what your purpose on this Earth was, why you were born and how to get the most out of life? Those questions are God sent and they have the purpose of leading you to His Son Jesus Christ.
The BAD news:
When we were created by God He gave us free will and with that free will the first human beings named Adam and Eve sinned. The moment they sinned their fellowship with God was broken. What they desired and wanted from God was hindered because of their very own gift of free will. Today we see the same problem; our free-will has caused this world to go completely out of control. You probably sit in front of your television and think “what is going on in this world?” However, there is something that is still life changing and still capable of fixing the problems we see, not just within the world, but within ourselves. The truth is we have all sinned and failed in Gods standard, the Bible says “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.” (Romans 3:23) We have all messed up and blew it in life, but God has given us a solution and from here you are introduced to the….
The GOOD news:
God sent Jesus Christ His only Son into the world to save the world. However, just as the free-will of mankind caused sin it can cause salvation; this is the beauty of salvation, it’s a choice. We make thousands of choices a day. We can’t quite decide what to watch on television, what person to call, whether or not to go into work, what radio station to tune into when we hop in the car or shower, but there is one decision that is permanent. God allowed Jesus to be born into this world with the hopes that you would accept Him as your Savior. God wants a real deal relationship with you. He doesn’t want a day, but every day. He wants to share His Gospel with you and that Gospel is this, through simple belief in Jesus Christ you can be saved. Believing in Jesus Christ is easier than unlocking a car door. In order to unlock the car door you have to put human action and effort into place, but in order to be saved you simply have to believe. You don’t even have to move and you don’t have feel some sort of feeling, it’s by faith.
“But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!)” ~ Ephesians 2:4-5 (New Living Translation)
Just as you clicked on this particular part of the website and believed it would go to another part of the website, so it is with salvation.
All you have to do is believe in Jesus to be eternally saved by Him. God desires this. God desires that. God desires you. God isn’t sitting in Heaven counting all of your sins rather He came down from Heaven to erase all of your sins. You have a beautiful choice to make today, “do I want to get to know Jesus?” The best news you will ever hear is that you are saved and God loves you, both before you saw this and after you make your decision. Check out what Gods Word says:
“But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
~ Romans 5:8 (New Living Translation)
In other words God was thinking of you, wondering “how can I show you I love you?” and His answer was to send Jesus to die for your sins, even while you were still sinning. The most beautiful thing in the world is forgiveness and that forgiveness is extended to you today. Jesus’ death on the Cross permanently erases the sin factor in your life. You will still have choices to make and make mistakes, but the broken fellowship and relationship with God is forever taken care of because of the Cross Jesus carried to Calvary and died on in the same day.
The choice today is yours, “do I believe?” It’s so simple. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and that He was buried and rose from the grave to prove there is more to this life, there is Eternal life and that is the gift God is presenting to you today, one that can’t be compared to anything on Earth….
"For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” ~ John 3:16 (New Living Translation)
Your salvation is a production of God, not what you have or haven’t done. It’s a completely free gift. Never let the thought “but I’ve done too much” or “I did that the other night” stop you from salvation, because it’s not human effort it’s divine grace, mercy and love.
“God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.”
~ Ephesians 2:8-9 (New Living Translation)
