“Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time. And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.” ~ 1 Kings 19:2-3 (King James Version)

Father in Jesus Name thank You for the value of prayer. I pray that as I read this that the Holy Spirit will fill me and reveal to me what needs to be heard and help me walk in Your path as You reveal it and thanks for doing so in Jesus Name. Amen.

Right now my left ankle hurts, the pain is focused right around the ankle, but I can feel it through my body. It sprang up out of nowhere. As I am sitting here I wasn't planning on blogging, but this might be beneficial for me to read later or perhaps you.  It seems like a very small thing, but it's disturbing my sleep; sleep produces rest. Rest produces productiveness. Productiveness produces contentment. This can apply to my life spiritually as well.  Something in my past, down low can "spring up" and disturb everything around you.

When it comes to your life unknowingly you have "issues." I know, it's not popular to admit it, but there are certain things YOU DO because something was done TO YOU. You may not see the effects, but God does. We don't understand the timing of God, but often God reveals "those things" that have caused certain behaviors in our lives.

When God reveals these things it easy to want to give up or go back to destructive and might I say SEDUCTIVE behaviors that have been in your past.  Just as Elijah called down fire from Heaven and heard a "threat" and ran and hid in a cave.  Many Bible scholars believe this was the "cleft of the rock" that Moses was "placed in" by God in Exodus.  Elijah knew this was a past thing and instead of furthering his mission he went to what he used to know.

It's the same with us, it's hard to admit but sometimes you can live half of your life being something you saw on T.V, something you read about yourself on the internet, something you saw growing up or a LACK THEREOF and the list goes on.  Yet, it's harder to confront these little issues that have a BIG HOLD on your life.  The purpose of this blog is simple, I can't make it work the Holy Spirit has to show you what your ankle is and what your issues are. However, you do have one thing you can do you can chose to confront it when He does.

It doesn't matter if you respond the wrong way immediately, a majority of people will or would, but the focal point of your life should be to address "it." Maybe your "it" is "them" or more than one, but nevertheless The LORD wants you to make that choice to "look at it, see the damage, accept that it HAS damaged you and place this whole thing in God’s hands to work in His time and His way and process to becoming a "healing" person.

I suppose it's important to address this part, sometimes your ankle can never heal if it was hurt, but it can start the process.  It might not make everything alright immediately, but the process can start. Redevelopment can take place, alignments can take place, hurts can be healed and habits can be overcome. But it starts with a choice. Just as sometimes it takes a mere second to change your life for the worse it can be just as quick to change it for the better; but sometimes "better" doesn't always appear as "better" when the process starts.

If my ankle was REALLY hurting, I couldn't walk and even trying to walk could hurt it again and more severely. Some of us have been walking and hurting ourselves more and more. You can settle for less, you can let someone beat and bruise you abuse you and misuse you and just take it, not knowing the reason why you allow bad relationships to persist in your life is simply because your ankle hurts. Make the right choice to allow God to start the work, regardless of the pain of rehabilitation and starting to walk again. Allow God to work.

Father in Jesus Name, I ask that You start this process and help me make it through. Lord, take away what You see is bad and help me acknowledge it and have the courage to confront it if its wrong and outside of Your will and plan. Lord, remove the spirit of guilt that will try to attack me for not doing something right at an earlier age. Lord, I place myself and this in Your hands in Jesus Name. Amen!
